Stained Glass Class

Soap-Making Class

Sourdough Workshop
In this workshop, participants will be taught the basics of sourdough starter, how to maintain it, mix it and what to watch for during fermentation. Participants will then be taught the basics of how to mix the starter into dough, shaping the dough properly and using different techniques of scoring. Second Saturday Dog Day
Dogs are welcome on this special day at Tulsa Botanic Garden. Dogs must be up to date on all registrations and vaccinations and must be controlled on a non-retractable 6-foot leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pups. Maximum of two dogs per household. Please bring your own water bowl.

Bioactive Terrarium Workshop
Learn how to set up your own bioactive terrarium. During this class, you will watch the instructor build a bioactive terrarium for reptiles, amphibians, plants, isopods and spiders. Native Plant Seed Swap
Whether you’re a seasoned grower or just starting out, connect with others, expand your collection and hone your gardening skills. At this free, come-and-go event, you will be able to share seeds harvested from your native gardens in time for fall and winter sowing. Seeds should be from plants native to the Oklahoma region, no more than 1 to 2 years old for best viability, and clearly marked with common and Latin names.

PhilBark Dog Days
During Dog Days at Philbrook Museum, leashed dogs will be allowed throughout the outdoor gardens. Please bring your own bowl to fill at water fountains and enjoy a stroll and outdoor seating with your leashed canine friend. Owners must clean up promptly after their pets. Waste stations will be provided. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations and registrations. Dogs must be socialized and well-behaved. Philbrook staff reserves the right to ask owners to leave campus with their pet. Dogs are not allowed inside the galleries. Service animals are always welcome. See museum ticket prices online.

Botanic Garden of Lights

Enjoy the garden as it is illuminated with colorful holiday lights. Make s’mores over fire pits and listen to holiday music in a magical garden escape. Popular nights and times sell out quickly. Go online for a complete list of dates. Garden tickets for nonmembers: $10 for ages 16-up, $5 for 3-15.

Wreath-Making Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, decorate a grapevine wreath with fresh greenery and seasonal flora as Philbrook horticulturists guide you in creating a wreath, which can also be used as a centerpiece, to take home for the holidays. Christmas Bird Count
Ray Harral Nature Center and Tulsa Audubon are teaming up for a Christmas Bird Count. Learn more about the birds that call the area home during the winter while participating in the longest-running community science project in the country. Naturalists and members of the Tulsa Audubon Society will lead bird hikes through the forest counting birds as we go. Afterward, help tally the results for the annual E-birds Christmas Bird Count Project.
