Stained Glass Class

Beginner’s Metal Workshop

Discover your inner artist and create your own unique garden sculptures at this three-hour weekend class. It is designed for beginners and led by skilled instructors who will teach you how to cut through metal with ease using a plasma torch. You’ll learn the basics of metalworking while creating multiple garden sculptures to take home. Advance registration is required. Tickets: $95.

Nature Craft

Make a nature craft from 3-4 p.m. Thursday. Projects vary by season, and this event is free. All supplies will be provided. This program is for all ages but is recommended for ages 2 and up.

Sourdough Workshop

Participants will be taught the basics of sourdough starter, how to maintain it, mix it and what to watch for during fermentation. Participants will then be taught the basics of how to mix the starter into dough, shaping the dough properly and using different techniques of scoring. Everyone will leave with a mason jar of active starter and their dough to bake at home for delicious bread. Go online to see more dates for this class. Cost: $40.

Snowman Wind Chimes and Wine Workshop

Get creative and unwind with Garden Deva Sculpture’s Wind Chimes & Wine class, a cozy two-hour experience. Instructors will guide participants through creating a unique and whimsical wind chime using festive metal pieces and colorful beads. Tickets: $75.

Open Terrarium Workshop

This is a fun and hands-on workshop by Pot It Like It’s Hot at Paloma’s Plants. Participants will learn how to create a beautiful terrarium. Everyone will start with their own unique large molten glass bowl on driftwood, then add layers of rocks, charcoal and sand that will help the plants thrive. Add cactus, succulents and moss, then finish with decorations such as animal figurines and mushrooms before discussing care instructions. Tickets: $70.

Green Country Home & Garden Show

The 22nd annual Green Country Home & Garden Show returns to Tulsa at the end of January. This three-day event will feature more than 140 vendors designed to help improve your living space and your life. The show will feature home improvement and landscaping companies, outdoor living companies, cookware, spas and more. Admission is free.

Show hours are noon-7 p.m. Jan. 24; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Jan. 25; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 26.

Urban Gardener Training: Growing Vegetables
